Mikaylee Mohr, CSW
From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. As a teenager, I experienced the loss of my father—an incredibly painful moment that first brought me to therapy. It became a place of comfort and healing, and as I processed my own grief, I realized just how life-changing that support could be. That experience sparked something in me: I wanted to be that safe, steady presence for others. After college, I followed that calling and pursued a master’s in social work. I began my career working with youth in residential treatment, where I witnessed the resilience and strength that can emerge even in the toughest moments. That solidified what I already believed—everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.
Being a therapist is more than just a career for me. It’s deeply personal. I know what it’s like to feel lost and to need someone to help you find your way. I consider it a privilege to show up for others in their hardest seasons and help them reconnect with hope.
