Tiana Louis, CMHC

The road to becoming a therapist started for me all the way back in childhood. I was that kid who always got picked on—an easy target. That’s when my own therapy journey began.

Fast forward to age 19: my mom—my absolute rock—was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I lost her less than a year later. Around the same time, I experienced my first real heartbreak. Cue another round of therapy.

Those seasons of loss and healing showed me, firsthand, that therapy works. It can be the lifeline that helps you keep going when life knocks the wind out of you. I believe deeply in the power of having the right support, the right tools, and someone who sees you without judgment. Every time I sit with someone for the first time, my hope is that we can discover the rhythm, method, and approach that will help that heavy weight start to lift—so you can begin to feel lighter, more grounded, and more yourself.

I’ve been in the mental health field since 2009, working with people from all walks of life—including teens, adults, and families navigating trauma, grief, identity exploration, neurodiversity, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. I know the courage it takes to step into therapy, which is why I also continue my own therapy journey even as I walk alongside others on theirs.
